Stormix Aerator
How Does It Work?
Advanced Fine Micro Bubble Aeration System for your Waste Treatment Plant under Retrofitting / Energy Saving for the water / waste water treatment system.
The System operates by creating a high speed vortex through the propeller rotation at 2800 rpm within the water. The vortex induces a high level suction of atmospheric air through the air intake pipes. This air is again diffused into minute micro bubbles by the propeller and released as `bubblemist’ within the water body. The continuos flow of microbubbles at depths within the wastewater triggers a high efficiency oxygen transfer rate which enforces a higher D.O. level. This direct inflow of micro bubbles within the waste waters would also effectively reduce the BOD & COD as per the relevant applications.
Benefits
Major Benefits From Stormix Aeration System
- Energy saving by almost 50 to 60% from existing power demand.
- Eco friendly.
- Low/Negligible maintenance.
- No need for Acoustic Enclouser (NEGLEGIBLE NOISE).
- Suits all tank dimension & can be used to upgrade/increase capacities at later stage.
- Further improvement in treated water quality(Current BOD Levels of 100 can be brought down to BOD < 30 Levels).
- No need for replacement of diffisers like in conventional system.
- No down time for maintenance/no need for effluent handling & cleaning of tanks under any maintenance of equipments.
- Size of fine bubble for Aeration shall remain same over years to come & no deterioration in performance over age of equipments.
- Works on principal of oxgen transfer & not only air flow.
Stormix / Eco2 For Iron Removal
- The Stormix Submersible Aerator & ECO2 Mini Aerators are most efficient for usage in Iron Removal from Domestic Water.
- The Methodology & specific procedure for achieving these results are-
- For eg: If the water flow @ 30M3/hr. and the water carries Iron @ 4 to 5 ppm. the oxygen reqd. to oxidise ferrous to Ferric oxide is @0.15kg/O2 per ppm of Ferrous.
- By deploying one Stormix Submersible Aerator in a storage tank of size 15 M3 & with a reaction/retention period of 30 mins, the Stormix unit would be providing sufficient oxygen to neutralise the Iron content from the soluble ferrous oxide to the insoluble ferric oxide.
- The water is to be then passed through a sand filter which will entrap the ferric oxide.
